Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) students received tips on problem-solving with design thinking from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras professor.

Richa Agrawal, associate professor at IIT Madras, touched upon key aspects of the problem-solving process by using real-world case studies from tribal communities. She provided step-by-step guidance on tackling daily issues with a positive mindset and out-of-the-box thinking.

An IIT Bombay alumnus, Agarwal has taught Design Thinking at the University of Passau in Germany.  Her expertise in teaching revolves around Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Tools: Strategies and Innovation, Insights and Innovations in Marketing.

Agarwal’s session resonated with the goals of KISS, which upholds inclusive education, women’s empowerment, tribal uplift and sustainable development.
