The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) postponed the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023. Earlier, the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam was scheduled to be held on 17 December. The Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam dates will be made available on the official website- jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
The council has issued a notification regarding the postponement of the exam. "National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023 scheduled for 17 December has been postponed. The exam has been postponed due to indispensable reasons. The new exam dates will be announced in due course of time", read the official notification.
The eligibility criteria for JAC NMMS scholarship 2023 is that interested students must have received at least 55% marks in Class 7 exams. Additionally, the annual parental income of the student should be less than or equal to Rs 3.5 lakh. The Jharkhand NMMS scholarship scheme aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 12,000 for selected students in Class 9 to 12.
