JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Exam dates revised again; know fresh dates inside

As per the official notice, the JEE Main session 2 will be held from 4 to 12 April

The National Testing Agency (NTA) revised the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) session 2 exam dates once again. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam can visit the official website- jeemain.nta.ac.in and check the exam dates.

As per the official notice, the JEE Main session 2 will be held from 4 to 12 April. Earlier, the exams were scheduled between 4 and 15 April. The new JEE Main session 2 exam dates 2024 were announced along with the advance exam intimation slip download link. 

According to the revised exam schedule of JEE Main 2024, Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be held on 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 April. Paper 2 will be conducted on 12 April. For paper 1, the exam will be conducted in two shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 to 12 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. For Paper 2, the exam will be conducted from 9 am till 12:30 pm.

Over 12 lakh students registered for session 1, of which 4,06,920 were female students, 8,24,945 male and 9 transgender. The NTA will administer the JEE Main session 2 exams at different centres located in about 319 cities throughout the country, including 22 cities outside India.
