JEE Main 2023 29 January Shift 2 Analysis: Mathematics paper moderate, check details here

The afternoon shift of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) Btech, BE paper was held yesterday, 29 January. The examination was stated to have a moderate mathematics paper and easy-to-moderate physics and chemistry papers. This examination shift was conducted between 3 pm to 6 pm for a total of 300 marks. The paper 1 questions, according to the students’ analysis, were seen as “moderate”.

• Moderate Level
• More questions were based on chapters of Algebra and Calculus
• Questions were asked from Parabola, Ellipse, Definite Integrals, Area, Differential Equations, Matrices, Probability, Determinants, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Binomial Theorem, Complex numbers, Progression Series
• Both MCQs and Numerical Based questions needed long calculations

JEE Main 2023: 29 January shift 2 Physics Paper Analysis

• Easy to Moderate level
• More questions were based on chapters of Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Heat and Thermodynamics, SHM and Waves, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, AC Circuits, Modern Physics and Semiconductors 
• The Magnetism Numerical based questions were considered to be easy

JEE Main 2023 Chemistry Paper Analysis 29 January afternoon session

• Easy to Moderate level
• More importance was given to Physical Chemistry in the Numerical Section when weighed against Organic and Inorganic Chemistry
• More important questions were from Alcohols, Ethers and Phenols, Aryl and Alkyl halides in Organic Chemistry
• Whereas the Inorganic Chemistry had questions from s-block, p-block, Chemical Bonding and Metallurgy
