JEE Main 2022: NTA issues advance intimation slip of exam city

National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued intimation slip of exam cities for  Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2022 Session 1 (June 2022). It will be conducted at different centres located in 501 cities throughout India and 22 cities outside India from June 23 to 29. 

NTA issued a notice on June 14 stating, “The candidates may please note that this is NOT the admit card for JEE (Main) – 2022 session; this is the advance information for the allotment of the city where the examination centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The admit card of JEE (Main) – 2022 session 1 shall be issued later.”

The JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in two sessions this year. In 2021, the JEE Main was conducted in four sessions, due to the pandemic.

NTA had given option to the candidates to select any four cities from where they would be comfortable appearing for the JEE Main exam this year. But the choice of centre cities was limited to the state of permanent address or state of present address only. Therefore, the candidates have been allotted exam city based on the choices opted for in the application form by them. 

The candidates can check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 using their application no. and date of birth from the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
