IBPS SO Prelims Result 2024 Announced: Download Results, Vacancies, and Mains Date

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the results of the IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) Preliminary Exam 2024. Candidates who participated in the examination can now access their results through the official website at ibps.in. The results will remain available for download until December 10, 2024.

Steps to Download IBPS SO Prelims Result 2024

1. Visit the official IBPS website ibps.in.
2. Locate and click on the link titled ‘Result Status of Online Preliminary Examination for CRP-SPL-SIV’ on the homepage.
3. Log in using the candidate’s credentials and click on Submit.
4. View the result on the screen.
5. Download and print the result for future use.

What’s Next for Qualified Candidates?

Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the IBPS SO Mains 2024, which is scheduled for December 14, 2024.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 884 Scale 1 Officer vacancies across various posts, as detailed below:

• Agricultural Field Officer: 346 vacancies
• HR/Personnel Officer: 25 vacancies
• IT Officer: 170 vacancies
• Law Officer: 125 vacancies
• Marketing Officer: 205 vacancies
• Rajbhasha Adhikari: 13 vacancies

Candidates needed to achieve minimum qualifying marks in each section and overall to move to the next stage. The cut-off marks for the Mains will be determined based on the number of vacancies. While this recruitment primarily covers 884 vacancies, IBPS aims to fill up a total of 896 positions through this selection process.
