Deadline for IGNOU ODL and Online Programmes Admission 2024 Extended; Steps to Apply

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes for the January 2024 session. The new deadline, set for July 15, comes after the initial deadline of June 30 was extended to accommodate more applicants.

How to Apply for IGNOU ODL July 2024

1. Visit the official website at ignou.ac.in.
2. Navigate to the ‘July Admission 2024’ link.
3. Select the programme of the candidate’s choice and fill out the application form.
4. Complete the payment process subsequently.
5. Download and retain a printed copy of the application form for future reference.

Applicants are required to submit scanned copies of essential documents such as photographs, signatures, educational qualifications, experience certificates (if applicable), and category certificates (if SC, ST, OBC).

Additionally, successful applicants can explore Government of India scholarships via the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in post admission confirmation.

IGNOU offers a diverse array of programmes through its ODL platform, including Post Graduate Diplomas in Sustainability Science, Development Communication, Digital Media, Environmental and Occupational Health, and Journalism and Mass Communication.
