The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) extended the deadline to fill out the application form for General Duty (GD) Navik posts to 3 March. Eligible and interested candidates can fill out the ICG Navik application window by visiting the official website- joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.

The ICG recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 260 vacancies for the position of Navik. The ICG has invited applications from male Indian citizens only. According to the official announcement, the stage 1 exam is set to take place in the last week of April 2024. 

To be eligible, candidates' age should be between 18 years old and 22 years old, with birth dates falling between 1 September 2002, and 31 August 2006 (inclusive) for the post of ICG general duty Navik. They should have completed Class 12 with mathematics and physics as their major subjects from an educational board recognised by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Candidates will be required to pay a registration fee of Rs 300 through online mode. However, candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) are exempted from paying any application fees.
