The power of marketing was the focus of a series of online and offline inter-institute competitions hosted by IMS Ghaziabad as part of Markshetra-Ace the Phygital Space from February 28 to March 3.

Markwiz, the marketing club of IMS Ghaziabad, hosted the event in collaboration with the Ghaziabad Management Association. 

The competition was aimed at helping the youth align with the current scenario in the global marketing space, and encourage extracurricular activities to help them identify and utilise their strengths.

In her inaugural address, Urvashi Makkar, the director of IMS Ghaziabad, encouraged the students to participate in extracurricular events to identify their aptitudes, attitudes, competencies and skillsets. She spoke about the power of purpose and said students must always try to find out their compelling ‘whys’ and put in rigorous efforts to excel.

Students from several institutes took part in the online and on-campus events such as Brain Busters – The Business Quiz Competition, Ventura – The Business Plan Showcase, Digininja and Ad Selfie. The top three winners of the on-campus events received cash prizes of Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 each. For the online events, the winners received Rs 1,500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 each.
