Last Chance to Apply Without Late Fee - GATE 2025 Registration to Close Today!

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 registration process is set to conclude on October 3, 2024. Originally set to close on September 26, the registration portal (GOAPS) will now remain open until 11.59 PM today. Interested candidates who have not yet submitted their application can do so through the official website. However, an additional opportunity will be provided to the applicants to complete registration by paying a late fee by October 7, 2024. 

GATE 2025 - Application Steps

1. Go to the official GATE 2025 portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. Create a new account by providing your email ID, mobile number, and other necessary details.
3. Log in with your credentials and fill in the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
4. Upload the required documents, including your photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
5. Complete the payment process as per your category.
6. Review the information provided and submit your application. 

Application Fee (Per Test Paper)

• Female/SC/ST/PwD - ₹ 900 and ₹ 1400 (with late fee)
• Others - ₹ 1800 and ₹ 2300 (with late fee)

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode, featuring a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. With a total of thirty test papers of 100 marks each, the exam will comprise a total of 65 questions, split between General Aptitude (10 questions) and the core subject (55 questions).

Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam, however, PwBD examinees will be given an additional hour.
