The registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, with a late fee, is set to close on October 7, 2024. This marks the final opportunity for interested candidates to submit their applications through the official website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in).
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, the conducting body for GATE 2025, opened registration for the exam on August 28. Those who missed the regular deadline that concluded on October 3 after an extension, had the option to register by paying a late fee. With the final application submission concluding today and exams scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, the admit card will be issued by the conducting body soon.

Candidates interested in applying for two test papers will have to submit the above-mentioned fee twice.
Exam Zones
GATE 2025 examination will have no international centres, all the candidates wishing to appear will have to travel to India to sit for the test. They must also note that while selecting exam centres, they will have the option to choose only three cities from the same GATE 2025 zones. The eight exam zones are as follows;
