At the end of day 5 of the IIT Kharagpur placements 2022, more than 1,300 placement offers had been received. On the first day of placements, the Institute was given the highest package offer of Rs 2.68 crore.
In the campus placements for 2022–2023, IIT Kharagpur received a maximum total of 760 offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), according to official data. The students received numerous offers from around the world, including 28 offers from Japan, 9 offers from Taiwan, 3 offers from the USA, and 2 offers from Singapore.
The Institute received 10 offers from domestic and foreign companies in the fields of analytics, software, finance-banking, supply-chain logistics, consulting, core engineering, high-frequency trading, tech profile, and product development, among others, with packages ranging from Rs 1 crore to 2.6 crores.
