The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, has concluded its phase 1 of placement season 2022-23. After the completion of its first phase, 1,128 students have till now accepted job offers that also includes 208 PPOs (pre-placement offers). Over 250 organisations, which also includes 35 plus startups, took part in this phase 1 of campus hiring and offered 1,200 jobs.
The phase 1 of IIT Kanpur placements 2022 witnessed 74 international offers marking a jump of 57% when weighed against last year. So far, the highest domestic package received by the institute is of Rs 1.9 crore.
The phase 1 of campus placements for the graduation batch of 2022-23 initiated on 1 December, 2022 and concluded on 15 December, 2022. The Phase 2 of campus placement 2022-23 season will start from January 2023.
On the basis of the number of students hired some of the the top recruiters at IIT Kanpur were American Express, Rakuten Mobile, PwC, Qualcomm, Reliance Industries Limited, Axis Bank, amongst many others.
