The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has invited the applicants for admissions to various programmes in PhD/M Tech/MS (By Research) for the academic session- January 2023. Interested candidates will need to visit the official website- iitk.ac.in to register for the programmes. 

Candidates who are in their final year of the programme are also eligible to apply for the programme and can secure provisional admission for the session commencing in January 2023. Applicants employed in industry or a college/university/institute may apply for admission as sponsored, external or part-time candidates. 

The PhD applicants must arrange for two letters of reference. The application fee is Rs 500 for candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC and OBC-NCL candidates. While for candidates belonging to the SC/ST and DAP candidates, the application fee is Rs 250. Separate application forms should be filled by the candidate for registering for different programmes.

Candidates must note that the last date for withdrawal from the programme is 15 December, 2022. Only caution money will be refunded if withdrawal is done after registration.
