The on-campus events will take place on March 20, IIT Gandhinagar said in a statement.

Being a completely student-run festival, Blithchron is an amalgamation of the creativity and energy of a team of around 130 students. Every year, Blithchron introduces a variety of competitions and provides a stage to artists from across the country.

One of the first college festivals to take place in offline mode in Gujarat after the pandemic, this edition of Blithchron is hosting a variety of online and offline events in hybrid mode.

Reverb, an EDM and Remix making competition; Skirmish, a tournament that tests your Valorant and Battlegrounds Mobile India video game mastery; Antaragnee, an on-campus street play competition; and Quizzitch, a fandom quiz, are a few of the events lined up.

Apart from these, there are many more competitions that will motivate dancers, poets, singers, photographers, and other art enthusiasts to do their best and earn rewards. Students from all over India are also going to visit the IIT Gandhinagar campus, stay for a few days, and participate in the events.

The two-day hybrid fest is planned to conclude with an EDM and DJ night opened by Vice and Virtue, followed by the main act by the DJ and producer TEJAS which is open for all. Numerous students from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad plan to be a part of this event to fill the void in the college life that the COVID-19 pandemic had created.

Approximately 1500 participants have registered for Blithchron’22 from IITs, NITs, and many private institutions all across India.
