The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will host a webinar featuring author, commentator and thought leader Gurcharan Das on December 15.
The webinar titled ‘Don’t Just Make a Living, Make a Life!’ is the eighth in the Samiksha series. The first webinar of the Samiksha series was held in March 2021.
The Centre, set up in January 2018, focuses on best practices of teaching and learning. It also helps conduct orientation and career mentoring programmes for the faculty at IIM Bangalore.
The latest session to be hosted by the centre will be moderated by Dalhia Mani, associate professor of IIM Bangalore.

The webinar aims to send out a message that 'making a Life' is not about ‘finding' yourself but ‘creating' yourself. Leading the discussion, Das will share three stories of people who managed to ‘make a life’. They cultivated a certain attitude that helped them give a purpose to their lives.
Das himself took early retirement after a 30-year career to become an author.
