IIFT MBA exams rescheduled due to Cyclone Jawad

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT 2022) exams in Masters of Business Administration-International Business have been postponed due to speculations of cyclonic weather. The examination to be held on December 6, 2021, has been pushed in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the IIFT (MBA) examination in the exam centres at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha’s Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur and Cuttack, West Bengal’s Kolkata and Durgapur.

NTA issued an official notice saying that the cyclone Jawad is expected to hit the coastal areas of Odisha on December 4 and keeping in mind the consequent disruption of normal life in the coastal areas of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, it has decided to postpone the exam that was scheduled to be held on December 5 at the exam centres in the three states, to a later date.

The exams for other cities in the three States and other states were conducted on the scheduled date. Another date for these few cities of West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will be notified by NTA soon. Candidates should regularly check the official website for the new date. The three States have been experiencing spells of rain since December 4. Although the intensity of the cyclone Jawad has subdued, there are speculations of heavy rains and cloudy sky.
