The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting entries for its IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022. The award is open for IGNOU students who have taken the initiative to develop something innovative. As per the latest revelations the best three entries will be awarded with certificates, trophies and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The ones interested can even submit their applications for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 latest by 30 September, 2022. Students willing to take part can further download the prescribed application format and guidelines from the official website of IGNOU: ignou.ac.in.
"Recognizing the importance of Research and Innovation in the overall growth and development of a Nation, the IGNOU has been emphasizing the recognition and promotion of the Innovator Students in different fields from across the Country. In order to identify, recognize and nurture the Innovator Students, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites entries for the Student Innovation Award-2022," said IGNOU in its statement.
The Student Innovation Awards Scheme was initiated by the National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) at IGNOU back in the year 2018. These awards have been given to the top three IGNOU innovative students every year since.
