Teachers would be recruited in different branches of the university, which includes Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Journalism and New Media Studies and others.
Number of vacancies
Professor: 17 candidates would be recruited for the position of Professor at IGNOU.
Associate Professor: 12 candidates would be recruited for the position of Associate Professor at the university.
Assistant Professor: Six candidates would be recruited for the position of Assistant Professor.
Deadline
The last date of submission of online applications is November 15, 2023 or within 21 days from the date of the advertisement.
The deadline for submission of hard copy of the application is November 20

Professor: Level 14 of 7th CPC (Rs 1,44,200 - Rs 2,18,200)
Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A of 7th CPC (Rs 1,31,400 - Rs 2,17,100)
Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 of 7th CPC (Rs 57,700 - Rs 1,82,400)
