IGNOU extends January 2023 admission deadline, Know new date here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has once again extended the deadline for fresh and re-registration for January 2023 session up to 31 March. Applicants who wish to apply can now apply for online and online distance learning (ODL) courses directly on its official website: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Previously the last date to apply for the same was 27 March. This extension has been given to all programmes except the certificate and semester-based programmes.

Steps to fill IGNOU fresh admission form 2023

• Go to the official website: ignou.ac.in.
• Tap on the ‘Register Online’ followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’.
• Tap on the button ‘New Registrations’ which shows on the login page.
• Fill in all the necessary registration details.
• Now select your ‘Username’ and ‘Password’.
• Once you have filled in all the necessary details click on the "Submit" button.
• Your login details will be sent to the email ID and phone number. 
• Now, login using the same details and fill in the necessary details.
• Choose your programme and then finally submit your registration form.
