The Institute of Company Secretaries in India (ICSI) has recently declared that students enrolled under the old syllabus back in 2017 can now switch over to CS Executive new syllabus 2022 consisting of 7 papers. Applicants willing to do the same will have to apply for the switch over on 10 April 2023 at icsi.edu.
The first examination on the basis of the CS Executive new syllabus will be conducted in December. Applicants are further not required to pay any extra charges for the switchover to the new syllabus 2022. It must further be noted that applicants will not be able to reverse switchover.
The institute has further exempted 2017 syllabus students opting for the new syllabus from sitting in the examination of some subject papers.
