A total of 900 teachers from at least 137 schools from across Haryana participated in phase one of the training. The second and the final phase of the training will be held soon.

The training was aimed to ensure optimal use of digital devices installed at the schools for enhanced learning outcomes and to incorporate technology into regular activities of government schools.

Experts from Globus Infocom trained teachers on different platforms, tools and resources available for online learning to help them create an enriching classroom environment.

Students across India had to rely on online classes since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country in March 2020. While schools have started reopening after a lull of almost two years, online classes are likely to remain a part of the primary and secondary education system in the country, experts say.

The whole training was designed around exploring ways to incorporate technology smoothly into the regular pedagogy of government schools. It also focused on ways to overcome the challenges teachers face during the technology adaptation.

The detailed training sessions delivered simplified technical bits to the teachers and guided them towards the maximum utilisation of technology for optimal results in the classrooms.

The training was conducted in groups, each comprising 40 to 50 teachers. Principals of schools also became a part of the training workshop to understand the impact of digital learning in classrooms.

Globus Infocom is a private organisation that provides highly advanced, cost-effective and reliable technological solutions in the field of education technology. The company has its own manufacturing facility, post-sales and installation support.

The company provided training completion certificates to the teachers who participated in the workshop to boost their morale and encourage them to apply technology in classrooms more effectively.
