The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) will conclude the regular application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 on 29 September. Eligible candidates can apply for the GATE exam 2024 without paying the late fee on the official website- gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
The IISc Bangalore will hold the GATE 2024 exam on 3, 4, 10 and 11 February next year. The IISc will allow candidates to apply for the GATE registration with payment of a late fee till 13 October. Candidates will have to pay an additional Rs 500 as late fee while applying for the GATE 2024 from 30 September onwards.
Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,800 to register for the GATE 2024. However, female students and candidates belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay Rs 900 for applying for the exam.
The IISc Bangalore has received nearly 25% more GATE 2024 applications compared to last year. In 2022, about 6.70 lakh candidates registered for the GATE exam.
