For Technical Training, ISRO & MSDE Collaborate at National Skill Training Institute

In Bangalore, Mumbai, and Trivandrum, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has partnered with the ISRO Technical Training Program. The National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Bengaluru, inaugurated the training programme on 16 December 2022.

This initiative intends to create a formal framework for short-term courses to be offered to ISRO technical staff in order to increase their capacity and enhance their abilities in line with the most recent trends and requirements in the nation's space industry.

Over the course of the next five years, more than 4000 ISRO technical staff members will participate in this initiative, receiving training at various NSTIs spread around India.

At NSTI Bengaluru, the training will start with the hydraulics-related course Industrial Hydraulic and Controls. This course covers a variety of topics, including fluid power systems, the distinction between hydraulics and pneumatics, fundamental hydraulic laws, hydraulic system components, hydraulic symbols, flow control valves, the idea of pressure regulation, pressure-controlled valves, hydraulic accumulators, and hands-on experiments.
