Good news for candidates appearing in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), December 2023. Those candidates, who have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions according to instructions, have been given a correction window till January 8, to upload their photographs correctly by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The incorrect images can be edited any number of times before the closure of the final edit window. Only the last saved information will be saved in records. The detailed instruction for uploading image have been provided FMGE December 2023 information

According to NBEMS notification, if any candidate fails to upload photograph according to the instructions provided in the information bulletin, his/her candidature will be rejected.

The NBEMS has also issued a notification for candidates who have not yet submitted all the required documents. Candidates will have to submit all their documents till January 8, failing which the candidates will be declared ineligible before the examination and won't be issued admit card.

A list of candidates who have failed to submit their documents have also been issued by the board.

Candidates can submit their documents through the Online Deficient Document Submission Portal at exam.natboard.edu.in/fmge.php

Here's the list of documents to be submitted by the candidate

a) Primary Medical Qualification Degree certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate duly apostilled/attested by the Embassy of India in the country from where the primary medical qualification has been obtained

b) Eligibility certificate issued by the NMC/MCI (If applicable)/ Admission Letter/ Proof of qualifying NEET-UG

c) Proof of Citizenship

d) Mismatch in Name/Date of Birth in documents submitted

e) Supportive documents for transfer from one medical institution to another

f) Mark sheet of standard 12th and Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
