What to Do After Checking WBCAP 2024 First Merit List and Seat Allotment Results!

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) released the first merit list for the West Bengal Centralised Admission Process (WBCAP) 2024 on July 12. Candidates whose names feature in the First Merit List and Seat Allotment List must complete their admission process before the deadline on the official website, wbcap.nic.in.

• Log in to the official website at wbcap.nic.in.and accept the seat.
• Pay the seat acceptance fee.
• Download the allotment letter.
• Report to the allotted institution within the specified timeframe with the required documents for verification.

Meanwhile, if a candidate registered for the WBCAP Counselling process wants to check the First Merit List, they may do so on the official website, wbcap.nic.in.

How to Check WBCAP 2024 Counselling Phase 1 First Merit List and Seat Allotment

1. Visit the official website at wbcap.nic.in.
2. Candidate must look for the link to the ‘First Merit List 2024’ or ‘Seat Allotment’.
3. Click the link and enter the candidate’s login credentials.
4. View and download the merit list.
5. Save a copy for future use. 

The second merit list for WBCAP 2024 is scheduled to be announced on July 23, 2024. Phase 1 admissions will be conducted from July 12, 2024, to July 18, 2024, with the first semester of undergraduate (UG) classes beginning on August 7, 2024.

This merit list is the primary selection criterion for admission into undergraduate programmes offered by participating colleges across West Bengal.
