The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 application fee payment window today, May 20, by 11.59PM. Candidates who have registered for the exam must complete the fee payment through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, to finalise their application.

The UGC NET 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18 and will cover 83 subjects using the OMR (pen and paper) format. This examination facilitates the award of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship appointments, as well as PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
For applicants who need to amend their submitted UGC NET 2024 application forms, the correction window will be open from May 21 to 23. During this period, candidates can modify personal details, academic qualifications, exam city preferences and upload updated photographs.
