The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the commencement of the DU UG special spot round admission for the year 2023. This special round is designed for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses in DU colleges who have not been allotted seats in the previous rounds of admission. The registration process for the DU UG special spot admission round is accessible through the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
The Delhi University CSAS application form for the special round is set to be activated at 5 PM today, coinciding with the release of the DU vacant seats list. Prospective students interested in securing admission to DU's undergraduate programs for 2023 have until September 20 to apply.
Before the special round, the university had conducted two spot allotment rounds to fill vacant seats. Students who were allocated seats in DU spot admission rounds 1 and 2 will be eligible to participate in the special spot round. However, those who were allotted seats in previous rounds are not eligible for this round.
The allocation list for the special spot round, which will be determined based on program-specific merit, the order of preference for colleges, and seat availability, is scheduled to be published on September 21 at 10 AM.
How to Register for DU Special Spot Round:
1. Visit the Delhi University CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
2. Click on the "Register for Undergraduate Admission" button.
3. Provide basic information, including your name and email address, to generate a password.
4. Select the special spot round admission option from the dashboard.
5. Enter your preferred courses and colleges in order of preference.
6. Review the application and submit.
