Today, October 31, at Delhi University, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Unity Run led by Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan. At Delhi University, the event kicked up at 7:30 am. Professor Yogesh Singh, the vice-chancellor of Delhi University, the registrar, principals, instructors, senior administrators, office personnel, and students from the university, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and CBSE schools all took part in the Unity Run.
On October 31, 2022, the Indian government mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, often known as National Unity Day. The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is held to honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the Iron Man of India, on his 147th birthday.
According to the official PIB announcement, the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge-taking ceremony will also take place during the festival outside the Gandhi Statue next to Vice Regal Lodge. Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister for Education, will also speak at the occasion. In addition, unique exhibitions on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be on display at Jawahar Park, Vice Regal Lodge to remember and draw lessons from one of the most respected sons of the soil.
