Dr Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University on Thursday claimed that Desh Bhagat University (DBU) is the first private university in Punjab to implement National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Dr Harsh Sadawati, Vice-President of the Desh Bhagat University stated that to give greater exposure to the students, the university had also come up with MoUs and made collaborations with other national and international academic institutes, universities and HEIs. He also further added that the university will offer multiple-exit options for students wanting to study abroad.
Dr Singh also announced that the university had launched IELTS Plus (a Pilot Project of DBU under NEP 2020). He said that in accordance with this the institute has started a 4-year multi-disciplinary bachelor’s degree programme for undergraduates (UG) along with varied options for exit covering both professional and vocational spheres.
