Delhi medical coaching institute offers Rs 2.5 lakh scholarship to pandemic-hit students

To get access to the scholarship the student is supposed to send the death certificate of the deceased parent

Dr Bhatia Medical Coaching Institute (DBMCI), a Delhi-based coaching institute, has announced a Rs. 2.5 crore scholarship programme for its students. 

 

DBMCI is the first centre in India to start classes for PG Entrance Exam (PGEE).

The institute aims to offer scholarships to students who have lost their primary caregivers to the pandemic during the second wave of 2021. The programme will be available for the next one year.

Nachiket Bhatia, CEO, Dr Bhatia Medical Coaching Institute, said the initiative is aimed at helping students fulfil their career goals without stressing about money issues. “I think as an organisation, it is the least that we can do; something that we must do in a time like this,” he said.
