The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the registration for UPSC CDS II and NDA II 2024 exams today, June 4, 2024. The application links for the Combined Defence Service (CDS) and National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) exams will be deactivated at 6PM. Prospective candidates can apply online via the official UPSC websites: upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

How to Apply for UPSC CDS II, NDA II 2024

  1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the 'Active Examinations' tab.
  3. Select the appropriate link for UPSC CDS or NDA examination.
  4. Register and fill out the application form.
  5. Pay the application fee.
  6. Submit and download the application form.
  7. Retain a hard copy for future reference.

The application modification window will be open from June 5 to June 11, 2024, allowing candidates to make necessary changes to their One Time Registration (OTR) profiles.

Application Fees

Candidates will have to pay ₹200 for UPSC CDS II and ₹100 for UPSC NDA I applicationsI, with exemptions for specific categories such as Female, SC/ ST, and certain wards of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs.

UPSC NDA 2 Selection Process 2024

Candidates must first pass the NDA 2 written exam, which includes Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT) papers, totaling 900 marks. Successful candidates will be called for the SSB interview.

The recruitment drive for NDA II includes 404 posts at the National Defence Academy and at the Naval Academy, while the CDS II exam will fill 459 positions.
