The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the application deadline for the CTET January 2024 exam. Candidates interested in applying can now submit their applications until December 1 via the official website ctet.nic.in. It must further be noted that this extension aims to facilitate candidates who haven't applied yet.
The CTET 2024 exam, scheduled for January, encompasses two papers. Paper I is designated for teacher appointments for Classes 1 to 5, while Paper II is for teacher appointments for Classes 6 to 8. The examination comprises multiple-choice type questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. Notably, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Steps to apply for CTET 2024:
1. Visit the official CTET website - ctet.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the homepage and click on the "Apply for CTET Jan 2024" link.
3. Opt for new registration and provide the necessary details.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
5. Complete the application form.
6. Pay the exam fee and upload the required documents.
7. Submit the form and download it for future reference.
