The Central Seat Allocation Board commenced the registration process for the CSAB 2024 special round counselling today i.e. on 31 July. Eligible and interested candidates can register for CSAB 2024 special round counselling through the official website- csab.nic.in.
As per the schedule, the deadline to apply for CSAB 2024 special round counselling is 2 August. The board will conduct CSAB 2024 special round counselling in two rounds. As per the official notice, candidates occupying a seat in DASA-2024 will not be permitted to participate in the CSAB special rounds. To be eligible for the CSAB special rounds, such candidates must surrender or withdraw their DASA-2024 seats before the specified date.

Choice filling last date- 3 August
Round 1 seat allotment result- 5 August
Exercising willingness in round 1, online reporting- 5 to 7 August
Last date to exercise options- 8 August
Last date to respond to queries- 8 August
Round 2 seat allotment result- 10 August
Online reporting- 10 to 12 August
It must be noted that the special round will be conducted to fill vacant seats in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) after the final round of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) process.
