The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to close the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 examination. Prospective candidates can submit their applications on ctet.nic.in before the November 23, 2023 deadline and fees can be paid till 11.59PM same day.

The eighteenth edition of the CTET examination is scheduled for Sunday, January 21, 2024. The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 135 cities all over the country. Aspiring teachers can access comprehensive details, including the examination syllabus, eligibility criteria, and crucial dates, on the CTET website.

For CTET 2024, the application fees vary – ₹1,000 for one paper and ₹1,200 for two papers (General/OBC-NCL), and ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers (SC/ST/ Differently Abled Person).

To be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format, the CTET 2024 exam will span two shifts, commencing at 9.30AM and finishing at noon for the first shift, followed by the second shift from 2.30PM to 5PM.
