The NEST authorities have released subject-wise cutoff marks based on the performance of candidates in different sections. These cutoffs will determine eligibility for further stages of the admission process.

In a significant development, two questions were dropped from the evaluation process. A biology question from shift 1 was found to have multiple correct answers, while a physics question from shift 2 lacked a correct option. To ensure fair evaluation, the total marks obtained by students in biology (shift 1) and physics (shift 2) have been scaled to maintain a maximum of 180 marks.
