CFA 2024 Exam Results Announced: Key Dates for May Session and Score Interpretation

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute has announced the result dates for the May 2024 session. Candidates who appeared for the May Level 1 and Level 2 CFA exams will receive their results via email. The Level 1 exam was held from May 15 to May 21, 2024, and the Level 2 exam from May 22 to May 26, 2024. Both exams were administered in a computer-based format. The CFA Level 1 Result will be released on June 26, 2024 (9AM ET) and the CFA Level 2 Result: July 2, 2024 (9AM ET).

How to Interpret the CFA Scorecard

• Minimum Passing Score (MPS): A thin grey line on the scorecard indicates the MPS. Scores above this line mean a pass.

• Obtained Score: Represented by a bold grey line. If this line is above the MPS, the candidate has passed; below means a fail.

• Confidence Interval: A light blue box around the score shows a 90% confidence interval, indicating the range within which the candidate's true score lies.

• 90th Percentile: A purple dashed line represents the top 10% of scores.

• 10th Percentile: A black dotted line shows the bottom 10% of scores.
