Summary
CBSE results for class 10th and 12th will be announced in the last week of July
A total of 35 lakh students appeared for the exams this year

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the results for class 10th and 12th in the last week of July. Currently the evaluation process of the board is on the go and the final dates would be declared by the board soon.

Results would be live on: cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. and the Umang app. This application is a mobile application developed for the new age governance by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for providing easy access to state and central government services.

Apparently this has been the first year that the CBSE board has held two Board exams for its class 12 students. For the academic session of 2021-22 the CBSE had introduced a different format which relied on two terms namely Term-I and Term-II. The Term-I board exams were held in the month of November - December last year, where as the Term-II exams began from April 26.

The decision to separate the exams in two different terms came after the board exams for the academic session 2020-21 were  cancelled owing to the pandemic. During that time students were evaluated on the basis of their scores in previous exams, internal school assessments and practical examinations.

Around 35 lakh students appeared for their class 10th and 12th exams this year. The students need to score a minimum of 30 per cent marks in each of their papers to get the pass certificate by the board.
