The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the 2025 Board Examinations. Practical Examinations/Internal Assessments for Classes X and XII will commence on January 1, 2025, followed by the Annual Theory Examinations starting from February 15, 2025. The detailed exam schedule along with subject wise dates and timings will be published soon on the official website.
In the official circular, CBSE emphasised the importance of accuracy when schools upload marks for Practical, Project, and Internal Assessments. Any mistakes in mark uploads will not be rectified later. To assist schools, the circular includes detailed guidelines on marks distribution, subject codes, and examiner information for both practical and theory exams.

Each subject is allocated a total of 100 marks, distributed across theory, practical, project, and internal assessment components. CBSE also clarified the use of external examiners for practicals and provided details on the answer books to be used.
