The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 on February 15. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their results through the official websites, cbseresults.nic.in and ctet.nic.in,.
According to the CTET qualifying criteria for 2024, candidates from the general category are required to score a minimum of 60 percent marks, while those from SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories need to achieve 55 percent marks.
Steps to download CTET 2024 results:
1. Go to the official website, ctet.nic.in.
2. Tap on the CTET January 2024 result link available under the candidate activity.
3. Fill in the roll number and click submit.
4. The CTET 2024 result will show up on the screen.
5. Download the scorecard and keep a hardcopy saved for future references.
It must further be noted that the provisional answer key for CTET 2024 was released on February 7, allowing candidates to challenge it until February 10. The final answer key was used to prepare and announce the CTET 2024 results. CBSE will provide the candidates' mark sheets on Digilocker.
The CTET 2024 exam took place on January 21 at 3,418 test centers across 135 cities nationwide. Paper 1 was conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, while Paper 2 was held from 9:30 am to 12 noon. A total of 26,93,526 candidates registered for the CTET 2024 exam, with 9,58,153 for Paper 1 and 17,35,333 for Paper 2.
