After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for the class 12 examinations today, May 13, 2024, The Telegraph Online Edugraph seized the opportunity to catch up for an exclusive chat with Vanshika Kothari, a student of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy (LSA), and the CBSE Class 12 Kolkata Topper who has achieved a remarkable 99.2% in the Arts stream.
“It feels surreal! I sense that all my hard work has paid off, and this achievement is truly remarkable. I had a strong belief in my abilities. I even confided in my mother a week ago, expressing my confidence in achieving a 99%,” Vanshika shared with us.
When asked about her preparation strategy, she revealed, “I never resorted to tuitions. I placed my trust entirely in my school instructors. Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, my alma mater, provided comprehensive preparation for the class 12 exams. We underwent two pre-board exams, practical assessments preceding each pre-board, and a selection exam mid-semester. These preparatory exams enabled me to identify and rectify any potential errors, ensuring readiness for the final exams. The last month was crucial for intensive preparation. I dedicated 3-4 hours daily to study, adhering closely to NCERT guidelines. Diligent practice and thoroughness ultimately paid off.”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Vanshika's mother was moved to tears. Incidentally today happns to be her mother’s birthday. Goes without saying, Vanshika's exceptional achievement serves as the perfect birthday gift to her mother!
