The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the dates for CBSE Class 12th supplementary exams 2024. As per the official notice, supplementary exams will commence from 15 July for those students who have not cleared the exam.
A total of 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment, as per CBSE 12th result 2024. The CBSE result link 2024 for Class 12 is available at cbseresults.nic.in and Digilocker and UMANG app. In 2023, 7.57% ie., a total of 1,25,705 students were declared failed in one or more subjects and this year too, 7.54% have been placed in compartment category.
CBSE Compartment Exam Guidelines 2024
With regard to the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the board has changed the nomenclature of compartment exams to supplementary exams.

Also, if the students are unsatisfied with the Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE results, they can avail for the re-evaluation of answers.
