In an important development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the answer keys for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 examination. The long awaited release, available on the official website cet.nic.in, follows the successful completion of the exam on January 21.
As anticipation builds, candidates are eagerly awaiting the simultaneous release of answer keys and their own responses. Once available, candidates will have the opportunity to scrutinise their performance and compare it against the provided solutions.
A crucial aspect of this release is the provision for candidates to challenge any discrepancies they identify, albeit with a nominal fee per question. The CBSE assures candidates that if their objections are deemed valid, a policy decision will swiftly follow, accompanied by a full refund of the incurred fee.
The magnitude of this examination is evident in the staggering numbers, with approximately 27 lakh candidates registered for the January session. Among these, around 9.58 lakh aspirants are vying for certification for teaching classes 1 to 5, while a formidable 17.35 lakh have set their sights on grades 6 to 8.
Steps to check the answer key
As candidates eagerly await the release of the CTET 2024 answer key, the CBSE remains committed to ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the evaluation process.
