​​The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to conduct the examinations for Class 10 board exams for the 2022-23 academic session. The full examination routine has not been released as of now, but students meanwhile can acquaint themselves with its Class 10 question paper pattern by going through its sample paper, marking scheme along with its question bank. The CBSE Class 10 sample papers are available for all the subjects on the board’s official website cbse.gov.in

The CBSE English Language and Literature question paper for class 10 contains of three sections -- A, B and C. Section A and B consist of Reading and Grammar and Writing parts, while Section C is purely Literature.

As per the marking scheme section A will consist of 20 marks having two passages. 20 multiple-choice questions will also be covered from these two passages. Section B will further have questions on Creative Writing and Grammar. Section C on the other hand will be held for a total of 40 marks and will also have questions on English Literature.
