Good news for the cyclone affected candidates of Chennai and Andhra Pradesh. The UGC NET Examination which was previously scheduled for December 6, will now be conducted on December 14 by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

According to the commission, many candidates of the cyclone affected areas were unable to appear in the UGC NET examination due to the cyclone and have been given another chance to appear in the test.

The cyclone affected candidates of Chennai and Nellore who could not appear in the exam for the subjects scheduled on December 6, will be given the second chance.

Candidates are requested to look out at the official website of the National Testing Agency for the latest updates on the matter.

The last date for submission of online application was October 31 and the exam has begun on December 6 and will continue till December 22.

The admit card for the examination is being released in phases at the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
