A total of 45,510 candidates appeared in the written examination out of which 1,129 candidates were barred due to misconduct and other related reasons

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) announced the results of the joint preliminary exams 2023 held on 1 November 2023. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check the result on the official website- bpssc.bih.nic.in under the Prohibition Department tab.

A total of 45,510 candidates appeared in the written examination out of which 1,129 candidates were barred due to misconduct and other related reasons. The answer sheet of 44,381 candidates was evaluated. As per the notification, 63 posts are for Sub-Inspector Prohibition and 1 for Sub-Inspector Vigilance. 

It must be noted that the schedule for the main exam will be shared on the official website by the commission soon. However, the final selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of a written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), certificate verification and a medical checkup.
