The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the dates for the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE 3.0) 2024 in an official notification published on Thursday, February 29.
As per the notification, the written exam is scheduled to be on March 15 and 16, 2024.
On March 15, the exam will be conducted in two shifts from 9.30AM to noon and 2.30PM to 5PM. Whereas, on March 16 only a single shift from noon to 2.30PM will be available. The exam will comprise of three sections including language, general studies, and subject specific paper.
The notice additionally states that exams for classes 11 to 12 in all subjects under the Department of Education and for classes 6 to 10 in computer science and music/ art subjects under the Department of Scheduled Caste and Tribal Welfare will be published later.
The BPSC TRE 3.0 recruitment drive aims to fill up 87,774 school teacher posts for classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and special school teachers for classes 9 to 10 under the Education Department. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination, followed by document verification, and medical examination.
