BAMS, BHMS Special Round Admission to begin from 8 February

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) on Monday announced a special offline admission round for admissions in ayurveda and homoeopathy courses will be conducted from 8 February to 10 February 2023.

According to a statement from the committee, the admission round is meant for the students who have given their consent during admission rounds conducted earlier.

1,060 of the total 1,353 seats had remained unoccupied at the end of the fourth admission round of ayurveda and homoeopathy courses. The fourth round of the admission process started on 21 January and ended on 25 January.

As per committee data, a total of 364 BAMS seats and 696 BHMS seats remained vacant. All the vacant seats were in the general category.
