Avidii, an on-demand EdTech platform, recently announced the launch of an Olympiad for marginalized communities in association with the West Bengal Headmasters Association (WBHA), starting in August 2023. The Olympiad programme aims to empower students coming from marginalized communities in the eastern states of India, Assam and West Bengal. The Olympiad will be held across 150 schools in the eastern region. Avidii has collaborated with esteemed institutions such as Scordemy, Lalan Coaching Classes, School on Web, and School e-diary to facilitate the Olympiad seamlessly.
Deepak Subbarao, Co-Founder, Avidii, said, “The Olympiad aims to provide students with a powerful tool that can uplift students’ lives, open doors to higher education, and get exposure to the competitive world, thereby sharpening their learning skills at the national and international levels to bring about a transformative impact in the long run on their socio-economic conditions. The programme will foster an environment in which students from economically backward communities can thrive, fulfill their aspirations, and become change agents in their circles.”
