The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is expected to start the Assam HS exams 2024 from today, February 12. Scheduled to run until March 13, 2024, the exams for Class 12 students will take place over four weeks. Each exam will have a duration of 3 hours, with two shifts for the convenience of students.
In accordance with the exam schedule, the first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will take place from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Students will receive an additional 15 minutes to read and check the question paper before the start of each exam.
To qualify the Assam HS exams 2024, students must attain a minimum of 30% in both theory and practical components. This requirement applies to all subjects, with a higher threshold of 50% for practical exams.
Students must further remember to carry their Assam HS admit card 2024 and school ID to the exam center, as failure to do so will result in not being able to sit for the board exams.
It must further be noted that strict guidelines have been outlined for exam day. Students are prohibited from bringing electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches into the exam hall. Moreover, sophisticated pencil boxes are not permitted. It is crucial for students to arrive at the exam center at least an hour before the scheduled start time, report to their designated room, and follow all instructions provided by invigilators.
With these guidelines in place, the AHSEC aims to ensure a smooth and fair examination process for all the students appearing in the Assam HS exams 2024.
